Hello Alchemist Club Members,
As I have told you all last week, the "Saving the Black Rhino" game is ready. We are going to start this week. I want everyone to be ready. We will first take a survey, a pre test to check how much you already know about ecosystems and critical thinking test to poke your brain to see how smart you really are. I am looking forward to this great learning quest. I hope you are ready to go on this journey with me. By the way, the science club members in Mrs. Arthur's class already took the survey. egg drop project

Getting started:
You need to create something that can absorb the energy the egg gathers as it accelerates towards the ground. A hard surface will crack the egg so you have to think carefully about how you can protect it. Something that will cushion the egg at the end of its fall is a good place to start, you want the egg to decelerate slowly so it doesn't crack or smash all over the ground. You'll need to run a few trials so have some eggs ready as guinea pigs, those that don’t survive will at least be comforted knowing they were smashed for a good cause, and if not, you can at least have scrambled eggs for dinner right?

E.T IS REAL AND WE COULD BE LIVING ON ANOTTHER PLANER : o
I have been hearing a few ppl in my class( u know who u r) say aliens do not exist. THEY ARE WRONG. They also said earth is the only place to ever have life. THEY ARE also WRONG. There are a million universes and how do we know there is no life on them. The world was basically made by exploding stars and the moon. But stars explode all the time. If anywhere is like earth,then we can live there and there could already be life there. Now the pic below is a comparison of earth and another planet. See,that is called a goldilocks planet. Earth is one. Not too hot,nor too cool. In the future if the world gets too clost to the sun and explodes,(no movie reference there noooo)we need to have another place to go. Because we will all die in fire from the sun one day. So ppl BE PREPARED AND STOP SAYING EARTH IS THE ONLY PLANET WITH LIFE OF CAN HAVE LIFE IN IT!!!!!!!!!
