Welcome Alchemist Club Members
Hello my fellow Alchemist,
This is Mr. Ronelus. Your first assignment is to use google to find out what is an Alchemist. Share your findings with us here in this blog.
An alchemist is someone who practices alchemy meaning "art of transmuting metals", later as the Arabic word al-kimia . I have gotten this from http://www.alchemywebsite.com/. I hate this font...
Transmutation may refer to: Biological transmutation, the claim that nuclear transmutation occurs within living organisms Dimensional transmutation, a physical mechanism that transforms a pure number into a parameter with a dimension "Human Transmutation", the 46th episode of the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist Nuclear transmutation, the conversion of one chemical element or isotope into another through nuclear reaction Transmutation of species, the alteration of one species into another. Transubstantiation of the Eucharist Transmutate, a fictional character in the Transformers universe Transmutation circle, a circle used to perform alchemy in Fullmetal Alchemist Transmutations, a film screenplayed by horror-writer Clive Barker. Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis), an album by the supergroup Praxis Transmutation (album), an album by the Brazilian death metal band Ophiolatry Sexual transmutation, Sexual sublimation, an attempt to transform sexual energy into creativity and thereby facilitate spiritual awakening Transmuting metals, Alchemy, turning inexpensive metals, such as lead, into gold Got this from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmutation
this is what an achelmist is :The alchemists did not follow what is now known as the scientific method, and much of the "knowledge" they produced was later found to be banal, limited, wrong, or just meaningless. Today, the discipline is of interest mainly to historians of science and philosophy, and for its mystic, esoteric, and artistic aspects. Nevertheless, alchemy was one of the main precursors of modern sciences, and we owe to the ancient alchemists the discovery of many substances and processes that are the mainstay of modern chemical and metallurgical industries.
An alchemist could also be some one who has tried to make gold with metal leftovers from st scholastica's.
In midevil times an alchemest is someone they belived could turn things into gold. Every culture has their own definition for an alchemest.
